Job description

  • The Housekeeping Supervisor coordinates room attendants, housemen, public space cleaners, and supervisors. They manage day-to-day housekeeping operations, ensuring high-quality standards and prompt responses to requests.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards in guest rooms, linens, uniforms, lost and found, laundry, and public spaces.
  • Train and supervise new employees on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
  • Inspect work for compliance with standards and document as required.
  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper with department morale and biannual QA Audit.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for pest control, laundry, and other services.
  • Plan daily employee work sheets and assist with cleaning duties as needed.
  • Resolve complaints about service and equipment promptly.
  • Ensure efficient communication with other departments for timely service delivery.
  • Check and maintain equipment.
  • Evaluate employee performance and recommend personnel actions.
  • Monitor daily workload and staffing levels within budget.
  • Advise desk clerks of rooms ready for occupancy.
  • Assist with administrative functions.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of English.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
