Mesilla Valley Hospital, a 120-bed freestanding psychiatric hospital, invites skilled psychiatrists to join our team in the vibrant city of Las Cruces, NM. Since 1987, we have been dedicated to providing diverse inpatient, residential, and partial hospital programs for adolescents, adults, and seniors. Proudly serving Las Cruces, surrounding areas, Western Texas, and Arizona, we specialize in mental health and drug and alcohol addiction services.

Position: Inpatient General Psychiatrist or Chief Medical Officer

Details

  • Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
  • Lead treatment teams and provide daily care for adult patients.
  • Full-time employed position with an option for leadership role for qualified candidates.
  • Enjoy a flexible daily schedule with the ability to be offsite after patient-care activities.
  • Hybrid onsite/telepsychiatry optional.
  • Monday-Friday, day position with minimal call/weekends.
  • Collaborate with residents, fellows, and medical students from Texas Tech El Paso.

  • Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
