Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a hands-on career with long-term growth opportunities? At Vetter's Culligan Water, we provide the training, tools, and support you need to become a skilled Service Technician in the water treatment industry.
As an Apprentice Service Technician, youll work alongside experienced technicians to learn how to install, maintain, and repair water treatment equipment in homes and businesses throughout Eastern Iowa.
This is a full-time career opportunity with a four-day workweek, no nights or weekends, and the potential to earn commission in addition to your hourly pay.

Work-Life Balance

What Youll Do
As an Apprentice Service Technician, you will:
  • Assist with diagnosing and repairing water treatment equipment
  • Learn to install water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and filtration equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Complete service paperwork accurately
  • Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Identify opportunities to recommend beneficial products and services to customers
What Were Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or other technical experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move 5075 lbs
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
