Quality Inspector (Cable Manufacturing)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our cable manufacturing team in Charleston, SC. This pivotal role involves ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the production process, from initial inspection to final verification. The ideal candidate will play a key part in maintaining product integrity, supporting manufacturing operations, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent inspections and quality assurance activities for cable manufacturing processes.
  • Plan and coordinate inspection schedules to align with production timelines.
  • Participate in manufacturing kick-off meetings to understand project requirements.
  • Perform weekly on-site inspections and review documentation to verify quality standards.
  • Monitor manufacturing progress and evaluate quality performance metrics.
  • Prepare detailed weekly reports documenting inspection findings and quality status.

  • Support load-out operations and final inspections to ensure product compliance.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in manufacturing quality inspection and assurance.

  • Proven experience with FATs, quality documentation, non-conformance management, and corrective actions.
  • Ability to work independently, providing structured and comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
