Description:

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and hard-working Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in the medical department at the Pike County Correctional Facility located in Lords Valley, PA.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care and perform duties under supervision of an RN.

A. Deliver nursing care in accordance with PCM Policies and Procedures. Ensures that nursing practice complies with established nursing standards, and scope of practice limitations.

B. Function as Charge Nurse in the absence of Head Nurse or Assistant Head Nurse.

C. Provide comprehensive nursing care while observing and maintaining security requirements.

D. Performs duties under supervision of an RN pursuant to protocols established by the Medical Director.

Requirements:Requirements

A. Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.

B. Licensed to practice nursing in the state in which the facility is located.

C. Experience in correctional health care delivery system helpful.

D. Ability to communicate effectively.

E. Ability to function under supervision.

F. Demonstrate clinical competency.
