About the Role
We are looking for a Field Engineer Technician to join our Operations team on our project in Mooresville, IN. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ability to operate total station instrument, transit, Auto level and other surveying instruments.
  • Sets and marks stakes for slopes, grades and other construction purposes.
  • Determines lines, corners, elevations, grades, alignments, angles, positions, and distances. Maintains total station and field book. Maintains survey equipment and tools.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Ideal candidate for this position will possess 2 years of construction/surveying experience using total station and site levels.
  • Complete understanding of surveying math, and good communication skills required.
  • Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
  • Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
  • Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Preferred:
  • Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
  • Must be able to work outside.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
  • Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
