Job Description
What You'll Do
This Supervisor/Associate Director, SEO contract position is in support of an enterprise-level migration. The websites are B2B/B2C in the telecom space. You will lead the migration efforts as a representative of Horizon Media working directly with our client to facilitate completion of the project.
Strategy development: 20%
Client Management: 20%
Technical Consultation/Implementation Support: 50%
Reporting: 10%
  • Migration strategy consultative efforts
  • Project manage and work with multiple teams, including technical teams, to determine & build strategies for technical SEO implementation
  • Create and maintain migration roadmap and timeline and communicate status across multiple teams
  • Perform client work as outlined by the client on an ad hoc basis when necessary
  • Attend meetings on-site with client and maintain confidentially throughout the migration process

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years' work experience in SEO, part of which was in supporting enterprise clients
  • Knowledge of all aspects of SEO, as well as solid understanding of all digital media disciplines
  • A comprehensive understanding of key search engine ranking factors
  • Familiarity with Screaming Frog, MOZ, SEMRush, Brightedge, Conductor, and/or other industry tools
  • Recent, demonstrated experience with Screaming Frog is required for this role
  • Previous, demonstrated experience of successful website migrations (including content, URL, CDN, and images)
  • Ability to speak to executive leadership on the client and interact with them on a regular basis
  • Ability to interpret analytics data and identify actionable opportunities
  • Proven ability to autonomously manage an SEO project that is deadline dependent
  • Ability to communicate SEO priorities to web developers and create/manage JIRA tickets as necessary
  • Working, functional knowledge of Adobe Analytics
  • Working knowledge of HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and/or CSS is a plus

Physical Activity and Work Environment
No physical activity required. Some travel may be required for trade shows, publisher/client visits, etc.
Salary Range: $2,115.38 to $2,500.00 a week. A successful applicant's actual weekly or hourly rate may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
