Job description

Approximate Hourly Range: $22.83 - 27.97 per hour
Position Overview
Responsible for the management of power distribution at events within assigned home location of Encore venues. The position will oversee and manage the workflow between planning stage and execution with deployment of labor for specific events at assigned locations. This position requires to collaborate closely with local sales and operations teams and well as internal hotel event staff. This position reports to a DET with dotted line to the Area/Regional Power Distribution leaders, based on services provided in the assigned location. Position will also complete additional duties as required based on needs of home location.
Key Job Responsibilities
Staff Development
• Determine, coordinate and schedule in collaboration with assigned properties and hotel event staff, all labor and equipment to facilitate the load-in and load-out of all events requiring power services.
• Partner with operations team within assigned properties to manage power inventory and assist with power sub rental and cost reduction.
• Create and execute power distribution load-in/load-out plans for in-house venue events. Complete load-in/load-out of Power Distribution equipment/services as needed.
Equipment Compliance
• Make recommendations and escalate compliance and safety needs to Power Distribution leadership.
• Ensure completion of ongoing maintenance schedule and test equipment & cabling, as per Encore standards.
Safety and Compliance
• Escalate any/all safety concerns, to Power distribution leadership.
Company Support
• Action Power Distribution requests for assigned location.
Job Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with Event Production Technology
• Interact professionally and effectively with a diverse work force, customer base and executive level management. Must have strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work in fast paced environment.
• Strong working knowledge of general business computer systems and functions.
• Strong customer, client and coworker interface experience and abilities.
• Experience in either the entertainment, theatrical or production environment is preferred

Work is performed in a hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance and conduct guidelines as defined by ENCORE's Team Member Guidebook and based on an individual hotel or a representation of hotels in that city or area. Team members will use high-end audio-visual equipment and electrical components and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based on an individual hotel or a representation of hotels in that city or area.
