The Renaissance Baltimore Harbor Place Hotel is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering, an excellent opportunity for an experienced hotel engineering professional to join a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Operations Leadership: Supervises daily engineering operations, staff scheduling, and training.
Maintenance & Technical Management: Oversees HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, boiler systems, and property repairs.
Preventative Maintenance: Implements and manages preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Compliance & Safety: Ensures adherence to building codes, safety standards (OSHA/ADA), and life-safety systems (fire safety).
Financial & Administrative: Assists with budget planning, inventory control of parts/equipment, and managing vendor contracts.
Guest Service: Interacts with guests to resolve maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
