Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• The Event Concierge Supervisor will take a role in owning the day-to-day operations within the department and hotel to ensure operational excellence.
• Greet the meeting/event planner in their meeting room to review agendas and timelines to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Check each meeting room for accuracy of set-up according to Banquet Event Orders (BEO) prior to event.
• Follow Event Concierge checklist each day for each meeting room and submit to the supervisor.
• Attend and participate in daily BEO meetings, daily team Stand-Up meetings, Pre-Convention meetings.
• Promote and support effective departmental and hotel communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• The Event Concierge Supervisor will have the desire to give guests the best service and experience
• Ability to use good judgement and problem-solving skills and to self-motivate
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work assignments and multi-task with multiple projects and/or clientele
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
• The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 10 lbs. regularly. As well as the ability to move and stand for extended periods of time.
