The Position: We are seeking a Senior Job Captain to join our dynamic teams working on either Restaurants, Hospitality, or Retail. This is a full-time opportunity based in Irvine or San Diego with a flexible hybrid schedule. The role is central to transforming design concepts into detailed construction documents and ensuring projects are executed seamlessly from development through construction.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with project managers and design teams to develop project schedules, plans, and deliverables.
  • Translate design concepts into precise construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and specifications.
  • Coordinate drawings and consultant deliverables to align with project objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Perform quality control reviews of drawings and specifications to maintain accuracy and excellence.
  • Support construction administration tasks, including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and site visits.
  • Leverage Revit and other design software to deliver efficient, high-quality project documentation.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of architectural experience with strong exposure to project coordination and documentation.
  • Project Exp (Any/all): Restaurants | Retail | Hospitality | Production
  • Proficiency in Revit and industry-standard design software.
  • Solid understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods.
  • Strong problem-solving, reasoning, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
