Job Summary

The Massage Therapist plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through professional, personalized, and results-driven spa services. This role is responsible for providing massage therapy, body treatments, and hydrotherapy services that exceed guest expectations in a welcoming, tranquil, and service-focused environment. A deep passion for wellness, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to service excellence are essential.


Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is strongly preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience performing massage therapy experience, ideally in a luxury spa or hospitality setting.

• Certification from an accredited massage/bodywork institution.

• Must possess a valid Massage Therapist License.

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and treatment protocols.

• Proficiency in additional therapies and wellness modalities is a plus.

• CPR/AED certification preferred.

• Ongoing professional development in current massage trends and techniques encouraged.


Skills & Competencies

• Has the ability to deliver personalized, attentive service that anticipates guest needs and exceeds expectations.

• Demonstrates expert knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques, including contraindications and client safety considerations.

• Has the ability to consult effectively with guests, assess physical needs, and recommend appropriate massage services and wellness enhancements.

• Can demonstrate expert knowledge in sanitation and disinfection standards following OSHA and Puerto Rico Health Department guidelines.

• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, luxury spa environment with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

• Can upsell treatments and retail products in a warm and non-intrusive manner.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

• Must be able to perform physical activities related to massage/body treatments including standing, bending, stretching, and repetitive motions for extended periods.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time when needed.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and assist with light physical tasks when needed.
