Job description

Sales Manager โ€“ Full-Service Marriott HotelLead with Purpose. Build Relationships. Grow Together.

At Legacy Hospitality, we believe great hotels are built by great people. We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team and lead the growth of group and corporate business for our full-service Marriott hotel.

This is more than a sales position. We're looking for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships, creating opportunities, and working alongside a team that takes pride in what we do. If you are a relationship-driven sales professional who loves hospitality and knows how to turn connections into business, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As our Sales Manager, you will play an important role in growing the hotel's group and corporate business. You will:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, meeting planners, organizations, and local businesses.
  • Identify and pursue new group and corporate sales opportunities.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community involvement.
  • Conduct sales calls, property tours, client meetings, and presentations.
  • Develop proposals and negotiate contracts while protecting the hotel's revenue goals.
  • Partner closely with the General Manager, operations, and other hotel leaders to ensure our clients receive an exceptional experience from booking through departure.
  • Represent the hotel within the local business and community.
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, client events, and other activities that generate business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities to grow the hotel's market share.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, account information, forecasts, and reports.
  • Follow Marriott standards and Legacy Hospitality's commitment to exceptional service and teamwork.
Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has hospitality sales experience, preferably in a full-service hotel environment.
  • Has experience developing group and corporate accounts.
  • Is comfortable prospecting and creating new business-not simply waiting for business to come in.
  • Builds relationships naturally and understands that people do business with people they trust.
  • Is confident communicating with business leaders, meeting planners, and clients.
  • Is organized, goal-oriented, and accountable.
  • Brings energy, professionalism, and a positive attitude to the workplace.
  • Works well with others and understands that sales success depends on strong partnerships with the entire hotel team.
  • Takes ownership and follows through.
  • Enjoys being visible in the community and representing the hotel.
  • Has a genuine passion for hospitality and making people feel welcome.
Why Legacy Hospitality?

At Legacy, our culture matters. We believe in supporting one another, celebrating success, communicating openly, and creating an environment where people can do their best work.

We want our leaders to be present, engaged, and invested-not only in the success of the hotel, but in the people who make that success possible.

If you are looking for a place where you can build relationships, make an impact, grow the business, and be part of a team that cares, we want to hear from you.

Come build your legacy with us.
