Position Summary
Working at Popejoy Hall, this position oversees all activities related to Front of House prior to and during live performances, as well as the management of Popejoy's donor lounges. This position will work primarily nights and weekends prior to and during events and includes Front of House/Lounge set up, position assignments for scheduled volunteers, extensive customer service, and execution of various tasks unique to each performance. This position may also assist with special projects and events related to the Front of House department and Donor Lounges at Popejoy Hall.
This is an on-call position and hours will vary based on Popejoy's performance schedule and administrative needs. A CPR Certification and an Alcohol Server's License may be required after hire.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the performing arts or arts related degree preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, well organized, self-starter.
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and de-escalation.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as an ability to learn new programs used by Popejoy.
