Project Manager/Handyman - Residential Construction
Handyman Connection is hiring an experienced Project Manager/Handyman for a year-round hybrid position. This role will oversee residential remodeling projects from estimate through completion during the spring through fall and handyman/home remodeling in the winter. This role is for candidates with a strong, hands-on understanding of residential construction who can confidently sell and manage projects, communicate with customers and who is an exceptional craftsman.
Compensation
  • This position is Base + Commission structure
  • Base salary is paid weekly
  • Commission is paid weekly, and earned based on profitability of projects managed
  • Tiered commission structure with strong earning potential

Project Manager Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver accurate project estimates
  • Manage residential construction projects from start to finish
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers
  • Coordinate materials, permits, inspections, and craftsmen
  • Conduct site visits to ensure quality, scope, and progress
  • Manage change orders and final walkthroughs
  • Maintain consistent customer communication and follow-ups

Project Manager Required Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of residential construction is required
  • Prior experience in construction, remodeling, or project management
