Job Description
We're looking for responsible and organized Patient Access Representatives who are committed to supporting patients during one of their most important first steps-admission and registration. In this role, you'll handle a variety of clerical duties related to outpatient testing, emergency, and hospital admissions, including verifying insurance and securing pre-authorizations.
You'll contribute to the smooth functioning of the admissions process while ensuring patients receive timely and respectful service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clerical tasks for outpatient, ER, and hospital admissions
  • Register patients and assist with pre-admission processes
  • Obtain insurance pre-authorizations as needed
  • Notify insurance providers of patient admissions
  • Support department managers with assigned tasks
  • Provide backup for hospital telephone operator and emergency call system

Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
