Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Food Service Worker for the Food Services Department.Full-time: 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day, rotating day and evening shifts, and working every other weekend.(Up to 1,000 Sign-on Bonus for qualified candidates)Food Service Workers are essential members of the food services team who offer support to the team and contribute in multiple ways, such as delivering nutritious meals and providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.Food Service Workers are essential members of the food services team who offer support to the team and contribute in multiple ways, such as delivering nutritious meals and providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors. This position entails various responsibilities, including but not limited to preparing and assembling food according to dietary guidelines, safety and customer preferences, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, washing dishes, working as a cashier, meeting utility needs, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. As a Food Service Worker with Sentara, you work in the different aspects of delivering food to the patients.Food Handlers Card required in the city of NorfolkCertification/Licensure
