Job description

Regional Vice President of Business Development
Location: Kansas City
Job Type: Salaried | Exempt
Legacy Hospice seeks a driven and innovative Regional Vice President of Business Development to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of regional marketing, establishing, and maintaining relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer concerns, and negotiating service contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee all daily marketing operations including the establishment and implementation of marketing initiatives.
  2. Ensure adherence to all laws, statutes, and regulations regarding marketing activities.
  3. Negotiate service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other payers.
  4. Assist in establishing organization volume projections in the annual budget and monitor allocation of resources.
  5. Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections.
  6. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.
  7. Recruit, select, orient, and manage members of the marketing team.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • At least three (3) years๏ฟฝ experience in healthcare marketing management, preferably in hospice care operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
  • Personal car for travel and valid driver's license. Carry personal auto liability insurance coverage.
