Position: Lawn Care Technician

Yardnique is seeking a skilled and motivated Lawn Care Technician to join our team. As a Lawn Care Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining lush, healthy lawns for our valued clients. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, excellent customer service, and the ability to adapt to the changing outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mix and apply turf and tree/shrub care products, ensuring proper use as per label instructions.
  • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides in line with established schedules.
  • Conduct soil analysis and recommend appropriate treatments to enhance lawn health.
  • Identify and address lawn pests, diseases, and other potential issues.
  • Operate and maintain lawn care equipment in a safe and effective manner.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their lawn care needs and provide top-tier customer service.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and ensure safe handling of products and equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Horticulture Manager and fellow team members to ensure quality service delivery.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Florida Driver’s License (3+ years required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in horticultural or lawn care services.
  • Knowledge of MSDS and chemical safety protocols.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift, push, carry, or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in Florida's varying weather conditions.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
