Job Summary
The Landscape Laborer supports landscape maintenance operations by performing groundskeeping and landscaping tasks at commercial, industrial, and public properties.
This role involves operating commercial landscaping equipment, maintaining plant material, and ensuring outdoor areas are safe, clean, and visually appealing.
Requirements
  • Cutting turf, mowing, weeding, trimming and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment
  • Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damaged branches
  • Planting and maintaining flower beds, and applying mulch
  • Picking up trash and debris
  • Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe
  • Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customers
Qualifications
  • Prior landscaping or outdoor labor experience preferred; training provided
  • Ability to safely operate lawn maintenance and landscaping equipment
  • Strong work ethic with dependable attendance
  • Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required when operating company vehicles
  • Ability to pass a background check
