What You'll Do as a Homemaker:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and dining)
  • Provide compassionate care and support for individuals with dementia
  • Prepare and serve meals following food safety guidelines
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean home environment
  • Support residents with transportation, errands, and daily routines
  • Communicate resident needs and changes with the care team
  • Follow safety procedures and assist with basic care tasks under supervision

Requirements for a Homemaker:

  • Training in geriatrics (nursing, social work, rehabilitation or therapeutic recreation) or sufficient related prior work experience is preferred but not required.
  • Onsite presence required.
