Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting elderly Seminole Tribal Members by performing light housekeeping activities. The individual is responsible for cleaning, mopping and tidying rooms and living quarters, washing laundry, and other related activities. Ensures that elderly living facilities are maintained clean on a daily basis, and to the satisfaction of the client; assists them with any other housekeeping tasks, as necessary. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is preferred. Prior experience as a housekeeper/ homemaker is required. Ability to speak the Creek and/or Miccosukee language is preferred. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. The incumbent must be reliable and be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
