Job description

HOMEMAKER
Is a trained non-professional worker who performs related housekeeping services in the home for the sick, disabled and dependent individuals. HOMEMAKER employees report to the Administrator.
Job Duties:ย 
Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment by following standards and procedures
  • Changing linens, dusting, vacuuming
  • Maintaining kitchen and bathroom facilities, handling personal laundry
  • Maintaining security

A homemaker must satisfactorily complete a training program approved by the Registered Nurse and may perform the following duties under an established plan of care and under the supervision of a qualified person.
  • Change bed linens (unoccupied)ย 
  • Grocery shoppingย 
  • General housekeeping (washing dishes, cleaning kitchen, bathroom, clientโ€™s room)
  • Trash removalย 
  • ย Laundry and ironingย
