Spreetail is seeking a high-impact Director of FC Operations to serve as the site leader for our Indiana fulfillment center. You will be responsible for the strategic roadmap, total P&L, and the growth of a high-volume team, ensuring we remain a leader in e-commerce speed and efficiency.
How will you achieve success:
  • Total Operational & Financial Ownership: Assume full accountability for the IN FC’s P&L and performance metrics, ensuring every department hits aggressive targets across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

  • Strategic Labor & Inventory Planning: Orchestrate complex labor models to manage fluctuating domestic and international inbound freight volumes while maintaining 100% on-time shipping execution.

  • Developing a "Leader of Leaders" Culture: Directly mentor and scale a multi-tiered leadership team—including Senior Operations Managers and Area Managers—fostering a culture of high accountability and professional growth.

  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Lead the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies to eliminate waste, optimize facility throughput, and redefine standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Tech & Infrastructure Optimization: Partner with Engineering and Software teams to identify, recommend, and integrate next-generation automation and equipment to increase site capacity.

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with stakeholders in People & Culture, Transportation, and Vendor Management to align site operations with Spreetail’s global supply chain strategy.

What experiences will help you in this role:
  • Experienced: 5+ years in fulfillment, manufacturing, or distribution (e-commerce preferred).

  • Proven Leader: 5+ years managing salaried leaders and experience overseeing teams of 300+.

  • Analytical: BS in Engineering, Operations, or an analytical Business field.

  • Relentless: A problem-solver who thrives on optimizing complex systems and never settles for the status quo
