How much do high ticket setter jobs pay per hour?

As of Jul 8, 2026, the average hourly pay for high ticket setter in the United States is $19.33, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $15.14 and $22.36 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a High Ticket Setter, and why are they important?

To thrive as a High Ticket Setter, you need strong sales acumen, lead qualification abilities, and experience with appointment setting, often backed by a background in sales or customer service. Familiarity with CRM software, pipeline management tools, and communication platforms like Zoom or Slack is typically required. Outstanding interpersonal skills, resilience, and effective time management set top performers apart in this role. These competencies are crucial to consistently generate qualified leads, build rapport, and support high-value sales conversions.

What is the difference between High Ticket Setter vs Sales Development Representative?

AspectHigh Ticket SetterSales Development Representative
Primary RoleQualifies and sets appointments for high-value salesGenerates leads and qualifies prospects for sales teams
Required SkillsCommunication, persuasion, understanding of high-ticket productsLead qualification, outreach, CRM proficiency
Work EnvironmentRemote or office, focused on appointment settingRemote or office, focused on lead generation and qualification
Industry UsageCommon in coaching, consulting, luxury servicesCommon in SaaS, tech, B2B sales

While both roles involve qualifying prospects, a High Ticket Setter specializes in setting appointments for high-value sales, requiring strong persuasion skills and product knowledge. A Sales Development Representative focuses on lead generation and initial qualification, often handling a broader range of prospects. Understanding these differences helps businesses assign the right tasks to each role for optimal sales performance.

What are the common challenges faced by High Ticket Setters in qualifying leads, and how can they be effectively addressed?

High Ticket Setters often face the challenge of distinguishing genuinely interested prospects from those who may not be a good fit for high-value offers. This requires strong listening skills, asking the right qualifying questions, and adhering to a proven script while personalizing the conversation. Effective Setters overcome these challenges by closely collaborating with the sales team to refine lead criteria, regularly reviewing call performance, and using CRM tools to track prospect interactions. Continuous training and feedback are also crucial for improving qualification accuracy and overall success in the role.

What are High Ticket Setters?

High Ticket Setters are sales professionals who specialize in reaching out to potential clients, qualifying them, and scheduling appointments or calls for high-value products or services. They act as the first point of contact in the sales process, engaging leads through calls, emails, or social media. Their main goal is to identify serious prospects and set them up for sales closers who handle the final transaction. High Ticket Setters often work with coaches, consultants, or businesses that offer premium services or products.

Job description

Sales Follow-Up Specialist

We are a high-ticket coaching business currently generating $120,000/month and scaling aggressively this July. We need a hungry, detail-oriented Sales Follow-Up Specialist to take ownership of a massive backlog of unclosed leads and turn them into revenue.

If you don't have experience selling info products, coaching, or high-ticket digital offers, please don't apply. This role requires knowing how that world actually works — the objections, the buyer psychology, the pacing of a follow-up sequence. General sales experience alone won't cut it here.

We currently have over 3,000 leads awaiting follow-up, 200 no-shows needing rebooking, and thousands of disqualified leads in our system that need to be re-engaged. This is not a role where you'll be sitting around waiting for inbound calls. You will be dialing, texting, and emailing prospects who already raised their hand but slipped through the cracks.

What You'll Do

You will take ownership of our unclosed and uncontacted lead pipeline. This means reaching out to prospects who had a sales call but did not close, prospects who no-showed their scheduled call, and leads who were previously disqualified but may now be ready to move forward.

You will log every interaction in our CRM, update lead dispositions using our Typeform feedback system, and ensure no lead goes untouched. You will track daily metrics including calls made, follow-ups completed, no-shows rebooked, and leads re-qualified.

As you prove your ability to re-engage and convert, you will have a clear path to grow into a full closing role.

Compensation

We run a three-tier offer model. Our downsell is $1,500, our core offer is $3,900, and our premium 1-on-1 program is $5,500.

You will earn 10% commission on every deal you close, regardless of which tier the prospect buys into. That means $150 per downsell close, $390 per core offer close, and $550 per 1-on-1 close.

The more you follow up and the better you get at matching prospects to the right tier, the more you earn. If you grow into a full closer role, your commission structure increases significantly.

Who You Are

You are relentless on the phone. You don't get discouraged when someone doesn't pick up. You understand that follow-up is where the money is and that most sales are made between the 5th and 12th contact.

You are highly organized, comfortable working in a CRM, and able to manage high-volume outreach without letting leads slip through the cracks. You have strong communication skills, can think on your feet, and aren't afraid to have real conversations with prospects about why they didn't move forward and what would need to change for them to say yes.

You want to grow. This role starts as follow-up and re-engagement, but for the right person who shows they can close, there is a clear path to becoming a full-time closer with higher commission.

Requirements

  • 1+ year selling info products, coaching, or high-ticket digital offers — required, not preferred
  • Comfortable making 50+ outbound contacts per day
  • Highly organized and experienced with CRM systems
  • Coachable, hungry, and looking for a long-term growth opportunity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Company Description

Impact Marketing & Sales runs full-stack marketing and sales for high-ticket info offers — funnels, follow-up, and the sales process that turns leads into closed deals.
