As a Security Officer Banking High Rise in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic location, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and reliability while making a meaningful impact for employees, visitors, and the surrounding environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor processing, credential checks, and entry control procedures in support of site policies and financial institution protocols.
  • Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and communicating professionally with employees, customers, and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
