JOB DESCRIPTION:

Prepare trailer for loading. Obtain all merchandise delivered at trailer and stack into stable loads. Separate store orders as required and close trailer at load completion. Exercise proper safety and housekeeping procedures. Observe all company rules and regulations. Perform any other duties assigned by management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Receive wave sheet indicating loading sequence for store delivery and expected store cube.
  • Receive RX Sheets for daily store deliveries.
  • Get maintenance sheets for assigned load lanes and fill out daily and turn back into lead.
  • Verify all RX totes quantity using the RX sheet provided with actual quantity.
  • Load merchandise onto trailer manually, stacking and packing merchandise securely to minimize imbalance, unnecessary movement, and damage in transit. Attempt to pack totes together and heavy cases on lower level and lighter cases on the upper level.
  • Load Non-Con products on trailer
  • Work both palletize and fluid lanes.
  • Ensure trailer is properly loaded Place boards; straps and/or load bars between store orders, and at the end of the fully loaded trailer.
  • Close and lock trailer doors, secure with red lock and give seal number to Lead. Assist other departments as directed. Perform any other job functions as directed.
  • Observe all rules and regulations as outlined in your handbook.
  • Observe all department and facility safety and loss prevention policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills to include ability to read write and count accurately.
  • Normal eyesight (natural or corrected).
  • Work overtime as required, in emergency situations, or as deemed necessary by CVS management.
  • Lifting: occasional medium/heavy in excess of 60 lbs.
  • Frequent bending/reaching/stooping; frequent walking/standing/climbing
  • Meet DEA background requirements as outlined by CVS policy.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $25.65

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
