We are looking for a Record Retrieval Specialist to join our Medical Records team.
Job Description
As a Record Retrieval Specialist, your main responsibility is to obtain the requested materials and supply those back to the requesting party in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
All duties and responsibilities are essential job functions and are subject to possible modifications to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
  • Data Entry;
  • Follow-up with providers (via phone, email, fax). This job requires frequent phone work;
  • Review of prepayment requests for accuracy and then inputting those into our system;
  • Answering status requests made by the client;
  • Processing rejections based on the client protocol;
  • Reviewing the requested materials for accuracy and supplying those in a final version to the requesting party.

Job Type: Full-time
  • Prior experience in record retrieval (whether from the vendor side or the physician's side);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication;
  • Strong work ethic;
  • Strong computer skills;
  • Effective organizational skills;
  • Ability to Multi-Task;
  • Detail-oriented;
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting;
  • Knowledgeable of basic Microsoft Office Programs (preferred);
  • Appropriately maintaining the diary schedule set in place for follow-up;
  • Ability to adhere to multiple client protocols;
  • Entering accurate diary entries in the system for all events regarding workflow;
  • Responding to client inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner;
