Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Helpdesk Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IT and automotive systems support, customer contact, and PC hardware/software troubleshooting and a proven ability to diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and escalate complex problems while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Recognize, research, isolate, and resolve technical issues supporting IT systems for vehicle programming.
  • Provide first-line resolution for less complex problems and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Develop and document follow-up steps to ensure successful issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Support customers through multiple contact channels while maintaining professional communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Professional work history or training focused on IT or automotive systems.
  • Customer contact experience with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
  • Computer hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructure and networking fundamentals.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair PC hardware and networking components.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work first and second shift with occasional Saturday hours on site at a customer location.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with service desk ticketing tools and knowledge bases.
  • Experience supporting automotive diagnostics or vehicle programming environments.
