The Opportunity

Heartbeat Development is looking for a Construction Foreman who can lead field crews across a wide variety of construction projects. Our work includes cabins, RV parks, recreational properties, metal buildings, quadplexes, remodels, senior housing redevelopment, storage, warehousing, and commercial support structures.

This role is ideal for someone who can run a crew, read plans, coordinate daily work, communicate clearly, and keep projects moving. We need leaders who can manage field production while also developing skilled laborers into stronger long-term team members.

Pay is based on skill, leadership level, and crew responsibility. A foreman managing a smaller crew may start lower in the range, while someone able to lead larger teams, more complex projects, or multiple trade scopes may qualify toward the higher end.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead and manage daily field crews, typically ranging from 5–10 workers depending on project scope.
  • Plan and coordinate daily construction activities across cabins, RV parks, metal buildings, residential-style structures, and site improvements.
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, measurements, layouts, and field specifications.
  • Coordinate work across trades including framing, roofing, siding, concrete, drywall, finish work, demo, remodel, and general construction.
  • Assign tasks, set expectations, monitor quality, and keep crews moving efficiently.
  • Communicate material, equipment, labor, and scheduling needs to project managers and leadership.
  • Track daily progress, jobsite issues, delays, and field updates.
  • Maintain safe, organized jobsites and reinforce proper PPE and safety practices.
  • Help identify, train, and develop skilled laborers with leadership or trade potential.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience leading construction crews or managing daily field operations.
  • Strong general construction knowledge across multiple trades.
  • Ability to read plans and translate them into daily field execution.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage quality, schedule, safety, and crew productivity.
  • Comfort working on a mix of new construction, remodel, site development, and light commercial-style projects.
  • Reliable, accountable, and able to lead by example in the field.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–10+ years of construction experience.
  • Prior foreman, lead carpenter, superintendent, crew lead, or field manager experience.
  • Experience with cabins, residential construction, metal buildings, quadplexes, remodels, or commercial support structures.
  • Experience managing 5–10+ workers.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Class E or CDL.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Military or veteran background is welcomed.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Stable salary structure.
  • Performance-based bonus and project completion incentive opportunities.
  • Referral bonus program.
  • Company-provided tools and vehicles may be available depending on role, project, and qualifications.
  • Tool replacement support.
  • Training and certification opportunities, including OSHA, fall protection, equipment lifts, and safety training.
  • Paid training, mentorship, and advancement opportunities.
  • Clear growth path into larger crew leadership, superintendent, or project leadership roles based on results.
  • Relocation assistance, housing, travel support, or per diem may be available for select higher-level candidates or projects.
  • Long-term project pipeline with local work where employees generally go home each night.
  • Annual company events and team activities.
