Position: Healthcare Management Intern
Location: South Boston Community Health Center, 409 West Broadway, South Boston, MA
Duration: 6 months (20-hour minimum per week)
Wage: $19/hour

Are you a Healthcare Management student eager to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare industry? Join our team at South Boston Community Health Center for an immersive internship where you'll learn the ins and outs of health center operations and play a key role in improving patient access.
What You'll Learn:
  • Patient Care & Access: Get firsthand experience in the day-to-day operations that keep our health center running smoothly.
  • Health Center Operations: Work collaboratively with experienced professionals in various departments to understand the full scope of healthcare management and behind-the-scenes operations.
  • Process Improvement: Take ownership of a process improvement project. Work with a mentor to enhance efficiency or patient care and implement meaningful changes.

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
  • A Currently Enrolled Graduate Student or Recent Grad: This internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in Healthcare Management or a related field.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: You'll be interacting with patients and healthcare professionals daily, so strong communication skills are essential.
