In this position you will apply technical knowledge in determining end to end design requirements for large projects involving line of business, software/hardware developers and vendors. Work closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives and existing systems infrastructure. Drives and participates in design, development and implementation of large and complex enterprise wide applications, often using new technologies. Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs.

The Healthcare Implementation Consultant is responsible for leading and supporting the implementation of Bank of America healthcare revenue cycle and payment processing solutions for healthcare provider clients. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients, operations, technology teams, and implementation partners to ensure successful onboarding, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support. The consultant combines healthcare industry expertise, project management skills, and technical knowledge to drive successful client outcomes while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Client Implementation & Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end Health Logic implementation projects for healthcare systems, hospitals, physician groups, and healthcare organizations.

  • Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables.

  • Coordinate implementation activities with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and executive communications.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and according to agreed requirements.

Business Analysis & Solution Design

  • Gather and document client requirements, workflows, and business needs.

  • Analyze current-state processes and recommend future-state solutions.

  • Translate operational requirements into system configuration specifications.

  • Collaborate with technology teams to develop functional and technical designs.

  • Support testing strategies and validation activities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare clients.

  • Serve as the primary implementation contact throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and solution reviews.

  • Manage client expectations and proactively address concerns.

  • Deliver implementation status updates to leadership and client executives.

System Configuration & Testing

  • Configure HealthLogic solutions based on client requirements.

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), integration testing, and production validation.

  • Identify defects and work with technology teams to resolve issues.

  • Verify system performance and functionality before go-live.

Training & Change Management

  • Develop and deliver client training programs.

  • Create implementation documentation, user guides, and process workflows.

  • Support organizational change management efforts.

  • Ensure successful adoption of HealthLogic solutions.

Post-Implementation Support

  • Support go-live activities and production stabilization.

  • Monitor implementation success metrics and client satisfaction.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

  • Provide recommendations for future enhancements and optimization.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of healthcare implementation, healthcare operations, or healthcare technology experience.

  • Experience managing complex healthcare projects.

  • Healthcare revenue cycle operations

  • Patient accounting workflows

  • Claims and remittance processes

  • Electronic payment and reconciliation solutions

  • Healthcare financial operations

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing Health Logic solutions.

  • Knowledge of EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.

  • Healthcare consulting experience.

  • Experience working with large health systems and multi-facility organizations.

  • Familiarity with healthcare payment technologies, lockbox processing, correspondence management, electronic remittance, and archival solutions
