About Unika Health

Unika Health is building the next generation of AI-powered healthcare solutions that improve patient outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, and transform how chronic diseases are managed. Our mission is to combine artificial intelligence, medical science, and human-centered design to create technologies that make healthcare more accessible, personalized, and proactive.

We believe the future of healthcare will be built by people who understand both medicine and technology. We're looking for curious, creative students who want to help invent that future.

Position Overview

The Healthcare AI Analyst Intern will work with our engineering, clinical, and AI teams to research healthcare challenges, analyze emerging AI technologies, and help develop innovative concepts and prototypes.

This internship is designed for students who are passionate about healthcare and excited about how artificial intelligence can revolutionize medicine. Rather than simply performing routine tasks, interns will be encouraged to explore new ideas, build prototypes, validate concepts, and contribute to projects that may shape future healthcare products.

If you're someone who constantly asks:

  • "Why hasn't healthcare solved this problem yet?"

  • "Can AI make this easier?"

  • "What if we built something completely different?"

...then we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do
  • Research healthcare, medical, and biomedical topics related to chronic disease management, remote patient monitoring, digital health, and preventive care.

  • Analyze how Generative AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI can improve healthcare workflows.

  • Identify inefficiencies in healthcare delivery and propose AI-driven solutions.

  • Develop proof-of-concept prototypes using AI tools and low-code/no-code platforms.

  • Evaluate AI products, APIs, and emerging healthcare technologies.

  • Work with software engineers to translate ideas into prototypes.

  • Prepare research reports, presentations, and product recommendations.

  • Assist in collecting and organizing healthcare datasets (where appropriate and compliant with privacy regulations).

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new healthcare products and services.

  • Present findings and prototype demonstrations to the Unika Health team.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
