Job description

Position Title:
Community Health & Strategy Intern โ€“ Senior Home Safety Pilot

Location:
North Dallas / Hybrid (Flower Mound area)

Duration:
12โ€“16 weeks (15โ€“20 hours per week)


About the Program

We are launching a 100โ€“300 household pilot program focused on improving senior home safety and reducing fall risks for aging family members.

This initiative combines:

  • Community health impact

  • Data collection & analysis

  • Business strategy

  • Employer-sponsored wellness programs

You will work directly with the Founder/CEO in building and measuring a real-world pilot program.


What You Will Do
  • Support communication with participating households

  • Collect and organize pre- and post-home modification data

  • Assist in tracking fall-risk indicators and reporting outcomes

  • Conduct basic data analysis and prepare executive summaries

  • Research and support outreach to senior care partners

  • Help develop presentation materials for corporate clients

  • Identify, research, and prioritize potential partners, including city/county programs, universities, public health departments, Medical advisors and nonprofits related to aging, senior services, housing, and community health.Develop outreach materials and support communication (emails, call scripts, one-pagers, follow-ups) to initiate partnership conversations.Schedule and coordinate partnership meetings, prepare agendas, and document next steps and action items.Support preparation of proposals, partnership decks, and program summaries for stakeholder engagement.Coordinate pilot-related collaboration activities (community events, volunteer programs, university internship collaborations, etc.).Collect and summarize feedback from partners to improve program design and implementation
    [IMPORTANT]
    The most time-consuming activities will be recruiting senior participants, managing communication, and conducting visits. Therefore, activities in the North Dallas area will likely require about 3โ€“5 days per week, which is expected to account for approximately 85% of the total time.
    Data analysis, on the other hand, will not require as much time.
