Summary:
Under the direction of the Health Information Management Manager, the Disclosure Management Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for a centralized disclosure management model across all Nuvance Health acute facilities. This role ensures consistent, compliant, and efficient release of medical information through standardized processes and governance across the enterprise. The Disclosure Management Supervisor develops and enforces system-wide policies, manages centralized workflows, leads cross-site teams, and collaborates with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to mitigate exposure. This position plays a strategic role in safeguarding patient information and driving operational excellence across the health system.
Responsibilities:
  1. Provide system-wide leadership for a centralized Release of Information model across all Nuvance Health facilities. (12%)
  2. Develop and implement standardized Release of Information policies and procedures for the entire health system. (10%)
  3. Ensure centralization of Release of Information operations, including workflow optimization and resource allocation. (12%)
  4. Oversee compliance with HIPAA and state regulations across multiple sites. (10%)
  5. Lead cross-site teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management. (12%)
  6. Collaborate with executive leadership on compliance, risk mitigation, and legal strategy. (8%)
  7. Manage system-wide audits, breach prevention programs, and quality assurance initiatives. (8%)
  8. Prepare and present system-level performance reports and KPIs for centralized operations. (8%)
  9. Oversee vendor relationships for Release of Information services, if applicable. (5%)
  10. Participate in strategic planning and budgeting for centralized Release of Information operations. (10%)
  11. Serve as subject matter expert for Release of Information across the health system. (5%)
  12. Maintain and model the organization's values.
  13. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
  14. Performs other duties as required.
