How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Receive, analyze, process and file health information for completeness, timeliness and accuracy.
  • Audit accuracy of electronic and manual entry, and facilitate resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Maintain smooth operational flow by assisting with general clerical duties.
  • Process requests for release of information according to regulatory requirements.
  • Notifiy physicians and appropriate parties of requests when applicable.
  • Perform clerical/technical duties associated coding processes and procedures.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking
  • 40 hours a week | M-F | 8 AM - 4:30 PM Central Time Zone | No weekends or holidays 
  • Previous ambulatory Health Information Management experience preferred
  • Experience with Google Workspace preferred
