As a health informatics specialist, you develop, implement, upgrade, and support the information systems that medical facilities rely on to provide appropriate and thorough medical care. Additionally, you analyze data to devise more effective ways of caring for patients, optimize information systems for optimum performance, and train and support healthcare professionals in the effective use of technical resources.
