JOB POST TITLE: Memorial Advisor

JOB POST SUBTITLE: Ideal for someone who communicates with empathy, pays attention to details, and wants to guide families through important decisions


START DATE: April 13, 2026

COMPENSATION:

$600 PER WEEK + 5% COMMISSION UP TO TIER 1

10% COMMISSION AT TIER 2


SCHEDULE:

OPEN Tuesday through Friday (9:30 AM - 4:00 PM)*

*Occasional after-hours appointments and pre-opening hours community outreach activities** as needed

**In order to support our community, we take a hands-on approach, from delivering donuts for local cemetery workers to attending business networking breakfasts.

We are looking for a compassionate and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Memorial Advisor at our El Dorado location to further support our community by preserving their loved ones' legacies with sensitivity and emotional intelligence.

Memorial Advisor Key Responsibilities with Success Metrics

Key Responsibility #1: Act as a trusted advisor for families, helping them navigate headstone options with empathy, transparency, and active listening to provide them with an accurate and meaningful tribute to their loved one's legacy.

Success Metrics:

  • - 100% of customer interactions and notes are documented in the CRM by the end of each business day.
  • - 100% of quotes are accurate and reflect cemetery requirements when applicable.

Key Responsibility #2: Proactively and thoughtfully communicate with families who have received quotes. Offer support and answer questions to help them move forward to make the purchase.

Success Metrics:

  • - Follow-ups are completed within 6 business days of sending initial quote.
  • - No open quote goes more than 30 days without follow-up.
  • - Every open quote has at least 1 next scheduled follow-up in the CRM.
  • - 100% of follow-ups are documented in the CRM.

Key Responsibility #3: Manage the post-sale activities of the headstone, including coordination with cemeteries for installations, flagging plots, submitting required paperwork, and facilitating payment of cemetery fees, while proactively communicating with families throughout the process and closing out projects once installation is complete and a review request has been sent.

Success Metrics:

  • - Balances due are collected 4 weeks before installation.
  • - Families receive a photo of the headstone within 24 hours of installation.
  • - Request a customer review within 1 week of installation.
  • - 50% of requested reviews result in a completed review, with 98% being 5 stars. Upon installation completion, all orders are documented and archived in the CRM within 2 weeks.

Key Responsibility #4: Follow the Showroom Standards Checklist to maintain a clean, organized, and presentable store environment, so families are impressed while feeling comfortable and cared for during their visit.

Success Metric:
When leadership does a quality assurance spot check, no more than one corrective item should be identified from the Showroom Standards Checklist.


Key Responsibility #5: Build proficiency with headstone design tools, including CorelDRAW, to assist in creating accurate proofs to support the design process.

Success Metrics:
- Demonstrate proficiency through designs within 4 months.
- Zero mistakes made in production based on proofs.
