Landscape Spray Technician – Joint Base Charleston

Full‑time • Steady schedule • Independent work • $23.68/hr

Allserv Inc. is hiring an experienced, licensed Landscape Spray Technician to perform herbicide applications, weed control and turf management at Joint Base Charleston. This role offers predictable hours, an organized work environment, and the chance to work outdoors on a well‑maintained Air Force installation. This is a commercial applicator position with no sales, no residential routes and no upselling.

Responsibilities

  • Apply herbicides and fertilizers across turf and ornamental areas
  • Operate, clean and maintain spray equipment (calibration, cleaning, minor repairs)
  • Identify weeds and select appropriate herbicides
  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
  • Complete daily assignments independently and accurately
  • Communicate with supervisors as needed to ensure safe, efficient operations

Requirements

  • Valid South Carolina Category 3 Turf & Ornamental Applicator License (or reciprocity from another state)
  • 2+ years of commercial herbicide/pesticide application experience
  • Knowledge of spray equipment and proper application rates
  • Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a federal background check (no felonies)
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, occasional Saturdays as needed
