Position Overview:
Arctiq is seeking a highly skilled Head of Corporate Strategy to lead our strategic growth initiatives through mergers and acquisitions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating and executing acquisitions, making strategic decisions, and driving corporate growth and profitability. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this role will collaborate closely with Arctiq's Executive Leadership team to provide informed recommendations based on thorough research and analysis of the industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end mergers and acquisitions process, from target identification through integration, ensuring alignment with Arctiq's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence to assess potential acquisition targets, evaluating financials, operational synergies, market positioning, and strategic fit.
  • Develop and present detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and business cases to support M&A recommendations and decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with Arctiq's Executive Leadership team to formulate M&A strategies that drive corporate growth and enhance profitability.
  • Work closely with private equity partners on negotiations, structuring, and deal execution processes.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors, private equity, and other key stakeholders throughout the M&A lifecycle.
  • Drive post-acquisition integration planning and execution to achieve synergy targets and maximize value creation.
  • Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to Arctiq's Executive Leadership and Board of Directors on M&A activities, progress, and outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting with a focus on M&A within the IT Services sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or alternative; MBA is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions, with an emphasis on due diligence and integration.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to quickly identify a large volume of deal targets and fill a M&A leads pipeline.
  • Adept at using a variety of M&A research database tools including CapIQ, Tracxn, Pitch Book, etc.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel.
