Job description

Our client is seeking a Head of Strategy to lead the creation of new capital markets businesses built on blockchain and digital asset infrastructure. This is a venture creation and product strategy role responsible for taking new business concepts from ideas through business case, go-to-market strategy, pilot execution, and successful handoff to an operating team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new blockchain and capital markets business opportunities from concept through launch readiness.
  • Develop comprehensive business plans, go-to-market strategies, operating models, and financial roadmaps for new ventures.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Business Development to execute pilots and validate product-market fit.
  • Present recommendations to executive leadership, manage stage-gate decisions, and drive ventures through early commercialization before transitioning to dedicated leadership.

Required Experience / Skills
  • 8+ years of experience in product strategy, business strategy, corporate development, or venture creation within digital assets, blockchain, fintech, or capital markets.
  • Demonstrated success launching or scaling new products or business lines, including building business cases, securing stakeholder buy-in, and delivering measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of digital asset ecosystems, tokenization, DeFi, capital markets infrastructure, and the regulatory considerations surrounding financial products.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly autonomous environment.
