Job description

Our Personal Lines team is currently seeking a Vice President of Personal Lines Strategy to lead growing team.

This is a Full-time, Exempt role.  This is Hybrid a position. 

 

Position Overview/Summary:

The Vice President of Personal Lines Strategy will drive our PL strategic planning process and serve as Chief of Staff for PL SVP, President. This person will work closely with Senior Leaders to help maximize the long-term performance within Personal Lines.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Drive the development of the Personal Lines evolving corporate strategy
  • Work closely with senior executives to lead most critical strategic initiatives
  • Participate in the efforts to identify opportunities to differentiate our Personal Lines strategy from key competitors by monitoring global industries, markets, opportunities and trends (3+ years out)
  • Provide unbiased business, market, and competitive analysis and recommendations in support of management decision making
  • Analyze operational and financial data in order to provide qualitative and quantitative backing to support the strategic development efforts
  • Lead and manage critical projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery of high quality outputs by all team members, including but not limited to: Rapid Results project management, Agent Incentive Programs, Strategic Partnerships, oversight of Ancillary lines penetration, Board of Directors Presentations, PL Strategy Offsite sessions and annual CEO strategy session, deployment of PL Project Management staff and AI Strategy for all of PL (roadmap development and execution)

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have both corporate strategy experience as well as a proven track record of positioning their prior firms and/or clients to be competitive and successful in the market. Other relevant qualifications are:
  • 15+ years of experience in a combination of professional services and / or the financial services industry
  • MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills, including financial modeling skills
  • Well-honed consulting skills enabling him/her to work with others to elicit information, to think objectively and analytically, and to influence outcomes positively
  • Experience in evaluating and executing transactions
  • Ability to quickly develop a deep knowledge of company products and services
  • Experience building a sustainable, profitable business while meeting the highest ethical standards
