What You'll Do

As RJM's Director of Project Management, you will

Lead People & Culture

  • Inspire, mentor, and grow a high performing project management team.
  • Develop Project Executives and future leaders across Operations.
  • Build strong cross department relationships and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Oversee project delivery across construction and service teams.
  • Ensure consistent processes, high quality execution, and exceptional client experiences.
  • Champion continuous improvement and upgrade how we work, from tools to systems to best practices.

Own Department Financial Performance

  • Manage P&L for the project management department.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, job cost integrity, and healthy margins.
  • Guide teams in meeting financial goals and maximizing project success.

Support Clients & Project Teams

  • Partner with architects, owners, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and strong outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on claims, escalated issues, and complex project scenarios.
  • Assign and balance project workloads to support both team success and business goals.

Shape the Future of RJM

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives as part of RJM's Leadership Team.
  • Influence long term planning for talent, systems, and client service.
  • Help grow RJM Service department and optimize its performance.

What You Bring

  • 12+ years in project or construction management within commercial construction.
  • 5+ years leading people, developing and retaining strong teams.
  • Strong financial, operational, and client relationship instincts.
  • Expertise in industry tools (Procore, Viewpoint, Sage, MS Office).
  • Strategic mindset with hands on leadership style.
  • A passion for building teams, solving problems, and delivering excellence.
  • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (required).
  • LEED accreditation (preferred).
