Job description

Work Location: ONSITE - Eden Prairie, MN
Summary: As an Analyst/Developer for Conversions, you will be a critical contributor within a team of highly skilled software engineers and analysts focused on converting data out of PeopleSoft HCM and into and out of our Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management software. Working together with this team, our customers, and our partners, you will implement integration solutions to meet critical business objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a functional expert with technical knowledge performing conversion design, testing, and implementation
  • Work directly with customers, vendors, and other interface owners to perform conversion mapping and design conversion
  • Analyze legacy code and data to confirm extract and transformation approaches
  • Code extraction and transformation logic
  • Ensure non-functional requirements are incorporated into solutions such as performance
  • Understand functional requirements and business needs and fully incorporate them into high-quality designs and testing
  • Support functional testing and lead and/or execute mock conversions
  • Analyze behind the scenes data using SQL queries
  • Utilize application of modern software engineering practices to ensure high-quality solution outcomes
  • Create reusable, shared code whenever possible
  • Quickly identify defect root causes and drive towards resolution
  • Uses critical thinking mindset to ensure all possible outcomes are accounted for in preventing operational issues (I.e. failure points)

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of PeopleSoft HCM experience
  • 5+ years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM modules Core HR, Payroll, and Time and Labor
  • 5+ years of conversion implementation experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on SQL with PeopleSoft HCM experience
