Annapurna Labs (our organization within AWS) designs hardware and software that accelerates innovation. Our custom chips, accelerators, and software stacks enable breakthrough performance in cloud computing, helping customers solve previously impossible challenges.
We're rapidly expanding our AI Hardware Test Organization and seeking talented Systems Test Engineers, Test Development Engineers, and Manufacturing Test Engineers

In this role, you'll own the entire test lifecycle - from creating test plans and developing test suites to validating and deploying tests in high-volume manufacturing. You'll ensure our AI hardware systems meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing methodologies.
You'll work closely with hardware designers, software engineers, and operations teams throughout the product development cycle. Your expertise in test development and system-level validation will be crucial for ensuring product quality from early prototypes through mass production

The ideal candidate combines strong programming skills with hardware systems-level understanding and a dedication to quality.
Key job responsibilities
* Create and execute comprehensive test plans for AI hardware systems from prototype through mass production
* Design and develop automated test suites and frameworks using Python, C/C++, and shell scripting
* Own the deployment and maintenance of test solutions in high-volume manufacturing environments
* Drive system-level testing covering hardware, firmware, and software integration
* Debug complex issues across hardware/software boundaries and perform failure analysis
* Collaborate with manufacturing partners to optimize and scale test deployment globally
* Analyze test results and provide data-driven recommendations for product quality improvements
* Develop and maintain clear test documentation and procedures for manufacturing teams
