As Associate Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:
JOB DUTIES:
Support Production Testers to provide Business Continuity
  • Provide additional Troubleshooting expertise to test technicians.
  • Document issues in production and create root cause corrective actions.
  • Identify upstream locations where errors occur and propose Poka-yoke process improvements

Continuous Improvement Mentality / Zero defect Culture
  • Monitor test station productivity (time-based process requirements)
  • Execute and Document Productivity Improvements
  • Execute First Pass Yield continuous improvement tasks

Tester Maintenance
  • Review top 3 tester downtime causes per month and propose, execute and document countermeasures and corrective actions.
  • Develop and Execute Tester Maintenance program.
  • Review / Update Drawings to support documentation accuracy

Leading / Teaching Test Technicians
  • Provide Training to testers on best practices and system knowledge to promote development in test team.CR Implementation
  • Execute manufacturing Testing Tasks for CR milestones.
  • Provide Support to Prototype and Pilot Orders

CR Implementation
  • Execute manufacturing Testing Tasks for CR milestones.
  • Provide Support to Prototype and Pilot Orders

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Complete Quality CIT assignments
  • Support Quality Audits
  • Supporting EVC process issues

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's in science in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • Education Equivalent Work Experience (7-10 Years working in a manufacturing environment as a tester with troubleshooting responsibilities)
  • With Degree - 0-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Non-Degreed - 7-10 Years working in a manufacturing environment

Required:
  • Electrical System Trouble Shooting (working with an Volt / Amp Meter)
  • Electrical Drawing Read / Write / Edit Capability
  • 24vdc/ 120vac / 240vac / 208vac / 480vac / 400vac (Europe) circuit understanding
  • Relay Logic Experience

Preferred:
  • Elevator system / code knowledge
  • Electrical Data Collection (i.e. PicoScope)
  • C# / C++ Programing a plus
  • Continuous Improvement Mentality / Zero defect Culture
  • Hi-pot Test Experience

Annual Base Pay Range:
The hiring range for this role is $77,040.00 - $105,930.00 USD. The compensation package offered will depend on their ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
Variable Compensation
KONE Annual Bonus plan at 5% Target Incentive based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
