Job description

SUMMARY
Performs repair, installation, calibration, and modification of Jet Engine Test Cells. Verifies proper
equipment configuration to drawings, specifications to include facility and equipment with-in the
Test Cell.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Verifies technical data specifications ensuring traceability to reference standards.
Prepares technical order improvement reports, special training requests, training quality reports.
Submits equipment warranties and deficiencies. Provides feedback to quality and engineering.
Assists in coordination of field support requirements to include advising Lead FSR to ensure correct
equipment is supplied to the job site.
Responsible to handle, label, and dispose of hazardous materials and waste according to
environmental standards.
Recommends improvements of manufactured assembled items and purchased parts.
Maintains inventory of materials and parts needed to complete the project.
Manages the expedited materials in support of Field Representative on-site activities.
Trains and follows prescribed procedures to those assigned to their project.
May identify procedural problems and recommend solutions.
Review/submit material shortage reports.
Notify lead FSR, manager and/or Program Manager, when material deliveries will cause delays in
production scheduling.
Receive and process Engineering Change Notices, Structural Change Notices and Discrepant
Material Reports, and take necessary action to complete job.

Follow Safety Policies and Procedures.
Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work

(AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.
Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.
Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.
Participate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate (including Strategic Planning, AIM,
Suggestion box, etc.).
Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.
Cooperate with Auditors.
Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Knowledge is mandatory of electrical, mechanical, US Air Force technical data, including block,
schematic, wiring, and logic diagrams; troubleshooting techniques; familiar with engine test software and
engine test cell computer operation principles; use of hand tools; procedures for training, supply,
maintenance data collection, equipment scheduling, production, and materiel control; facility
requirements; and support equipment management.
Military experience in Jet Engine maintenance and Test Cell operations is highly preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
