Job description

Sheetak, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced test engineer or team leader to join our thermoelectrics test engineering team in Austin, Texas. The individual will be responsible for the characterization of thermoelectric (TE) material and devices using LabVIEW-based data acquisition systems, will coordinate testing schedule and convey capabilities to other technical groups, and will support and mentor other test/FA engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform TE material characterization to extract electrical conductivity, Seebeck and Hall parameters in custom-made test chambers.
  • Perform TE device characterization to extract maximum parameters (ΔT, voltage, current) and electrical properties (RDC, RAC).
  • Perform standard wafer-level electrical measurements via probing on manual and semi‑automatic probe stations.
  • Write and modify LabVIEW test programs and data processing tools to improve testing throughput and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • BS in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar field, MS/PhD is a plus.
  • 3-5 years work/laboratory experience, characterization of thermoelectric devices preferred.
  • Knowledge of test automation tools such as LabVIEW, Python, or MATLAB.
