Duties:

Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks for new and existing applications. Evaluate testcases for regression coverage, automate newly implemented functionality, and develop tools to enhance test efficiency. Work closely with software developers, project managers and product owners to ensure adherence to quality standards and timely delivery. Manage the service deployments, scaling and operation of test environments using Harness and Rancher. Develop and maintain UI and API test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber BDD, TestNG/JUnit, and Rest Assured for regression and smoke testing as well as implement Gherkin feature files and Java step definitions while leveraging Docker containers for test environment consistency. Conduct performance and load testing using Jmeter to validate system scalability. Develop and execute REST API tests using postman and cucumber BDD framework. Manage defect tracking and test reporting using SpiraTest and Jira, ensuring traceability and continuous improvement of QA/STLC process. Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into the build and deployment process using Jenkins and generate test metric reports through SpiraTest and Splunk to track quality trends and determine release readiness. Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand ups, retrospectives) and mentor team members for automation best practices. Perform proof of concept evaluations for emerging tools such as playwright to improve automation efficiency. Conduct detailed analysis for testability, risk mitigation, and configuration management. Participate in reviews of test design and recommend improvements for redundancy and improve quality. Utilize tools such as Java, Gherkin, Cucumber, JavaScript, Junit, Jmeter, Rancher, Harness, Jenkins, Gradle, Xpath, YAML and JSON to deliver reliable and scalable automation solutions. Up to 40% telecommuting permitted. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation's Employee Referral Program.*
