Job Title: Embedded Hardware Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Hardware Engineer who will design and develop embedded hardware for customer programs across diverse industries. The role involves creating schematics, supporting PCB layout, and guiding component selection. You will collaborate on multilayer board development and designs while working closely with firmware engineers to define interfaces and support integration. Your participation in board bring-up, debugging, validation, and root-cause troubleshooting is essential. You will also contribute to requirements discussions, technical design reviews, and support prototype builds, testing, and design iteration. Occasional participation in customer-facing technical discussions will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop embedded hardware for customer programs across multiple industries.
  • Create schematics, support PCB layout, and guide component selection.
  • Collaborate on multilayer board development and designs.
  • Work closely with firmware engineers to define interfaces and support integration.
  • Participate in board bring-up, debugging, validation, and root-cause troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to requirements discussions and technical design reviews.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, and design iteration.
  • Participate in customer-facing technical discussions when appropriate.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 3+ years of hardware engineering experience (flexibility depending on degree).
  • Experience developing embedded electronics and PCB-based systems.
  • Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit fundamentals.
  • Experience with one or more PCB design environments such as Altium Designer.
  • Familiarity with component selection, schematic capture, and layout review.
  • Comfort debugging hardware in lab environments using oscilloscopes, analyzers, and bench instrumentation.
  • Ability to work effectively across hardware, firmware, and test functions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $55.29/hr.
